TAIXI MCCB 250A Moulded Case Breaker Construction and Performance
The moulded case design houses arc-quenching chambers that extinguish fault arcs safely within the device, preventing external plasma discharge and fire hazards in battery enclosures and charging stations. Current ratings scale from 125A to 400A in standard increments, with voltage flexibility across 12V, 24V, 48V and 72V DC systems used in electric vehicle infrastructure and battery banks. Thermal magnetic trip mechanisms combine instantaneous magnetic sensing for short circuits with time-delayed thermal response for sustained overloads, protecting both the MCCB circuit breaker and downstream components. Contact materials resist welding and erosion even under repeated fault conditions, maintaining reliable isolation performance for years of EV charging pile operation.
